About R-22 Refrigerant

R-22, also known as HCFC-22, is a refrigerant historically used in residential and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and industrial cooling applications.

R-22 is no longer used in new equipment in many markets due to its ozone-depleting properties and applicable phaseout regulations. This product is intended for servicing existing compatible R-22 systems where its use is legally permitted.

Convenient & Reliable

The compact 28.2 oz. / 1.8 lb. container is designed for convenient servicing of compatible existing air conditioning, refrigeration, and cooling systems. The 1/4″ SAE self-sealing valve allows connection to compatible service hoses and equipment.

This product contains 100% pure refrigerant and is supplied in accordance with applicable quality standards, meeting or exceeding ARI-700 specifications.

Application method

πŸ› οΈ Application Method

  1. Ensure your HVAC system is specifically designed for R-32 refrigerant.
  2. Wear appropriate PPE and work in a well-ventilated area due to mild flammability (A2L rating).
  3. Connect your charging hose to the cylinder’s left-hand threaded valve using a compatible adapter if needed.
  4. Charge the system carefully according to the manufacturer's specifications and pressure guidelines.
  5. Once finished, tightly close the valve and store the cylinder upright in a cool, dry location.

⚠️ Warning: R-32 is not a retrofit gas. Use only with systems that are approved and labeled for R-32. Improper use may result in damage or hazards.
